Mrs. Mona Eloise Bailey Davis, age 89, of the Springfield Community, died Sunday, December 5, 2010. The visitation will be Tuesday evening 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Elkins East Chapel Funeral Home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Springfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The casket will lie in state one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Kenny Morgan will officiate. Burial will follow in the Springfield Cemetery. Mrs. Davis was retired from Reltoc as a seamstress. She was a long-time member of the Springfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She is survived by sons Larry F. Davis and wife Jimmie Lou, Rogersville, and Teddy D. Davis, Rogersville; grandchildren Michael Shane Davis and wife Jana, Rogersville, Terry A. Davis Miller and husband John, Lexington, Christopher Paul Davis and wife Dena, Rogersville, and Corey A. Davis, Rogersville; great-grandchildren Matthew Weigart, Alex Davis, Peyton Davis, Madison Davis, Hannah Miller, Kyle Davis, and Aiden Davis; sister Faye Bailey Porter, Lexington. She was preceded in death by her husband Lendon Aris Davis; brothers James Delbert Bailey and Jesse Bailey; sisters Mary Bailey Brumley and Yvonne Bailey Jones. Pallbearers will be Matthew Weigart, Alex Davis, Peyton Davis, Kyle Davis, Shane Davis and Paul Davis.
