Funeral for Nadine S. Roberts, 91, of Decatur will be Tuesday, March 04, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Flint Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Richie officiating and Ridout's Brown-Service directing. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Nadine S. Roberts, who died Saturday, March 1, 2014, was born April 13, 1922, in Lawrence County to Tennis and Maud Suggs. She was a member of Flint Baptist Church since 1952. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leonard Roberts; four brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include one son, Leonard Roberts and wife Vicki of Decatur; one daughter, Nona Pace of Decatur; three grandaughters, Kim Stephenson and husband Todd, Miranda Hill, Sabrina Roberts; three great-granddaughters, Averie Van Antwerp, Stella Grace Hill, Sophi Brooke Stephenson; and one brother, Buddy Suggs and wife Jane.
A special thanks to Summerford Nursing Home and Decatur Morgan Hospital for their loving care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Flint Baptist Building Fund.
