Mrs. Nancy Carolyn Portugues, 70, of Florence passed away Wednesday, June 10,2009.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 14 at St. Joseph''s Catholic Church from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., with a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. Father Andrew Sullivan will officiate.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James L. Caudle and Novillian Melton Caudle. Daughter, Yvette Wisdom brother, James Caudle, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Manuel Portugues, daughters Emily Portugues, Karen Cantrell, Susan Stewart and Teresa Crocker (Clay). Grandchildren, Dain Stewart, Cathryn Cantrell and Eric Crocker.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Joseph''s Catholic Church or to the Cancer Society.
Elkins Funeral Home Florence is assisting the family.
