Nancy Louella Ray, 90, of Decatur passed away peacefully at 1:39 am on  January 30,2022 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Ms. Ray was born in Elkmont, Alabama on September 3, 1931 to Gus and Nancy Amerson.  She was preceeded in death by her parents, 2 daughters, Peggy Ann and Cathy Ann, brothers Leroy, Sam and Raymond and sisters Dorothy (Dot) and Shirley and great-grandson, Glenn.  She is survived by her loving daughers Kristy England (John), Betty Raspberry (Wayne) and son Gerry Ray.  She is also survived by 3 granddaughters, 1 grandson,  4 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great granddaughters. Graveside Service will held February 1, 2022 at 3 pm at Antioch Cemetery in Elkmont, Alabama.  If flowers would like to be sent, please do so by 1 pm on Feb. 1 to Ridout-Brown Service, 711 Memorial Drive SW, Decatur, AL 35601 .
