Nellie Faye Fields
Nellie Fields, 94, of Lexington died Thursday, August 15, 2013, at her residence.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 17, 2013, at Elkins East Chapel from 11 AM to 12 PM. Funeral services will follow at 12 PM in the Chapel, with Ralton McCarley and Milton Burks officiating. Burial will be at Pettus Cemetery in Lexington.
Mrs. Fields was a member of 1st Baptist Church Lexington. She was a retired nurse at ECM Hospital.
Mrs. Fields was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Fields; grandchildren, Timmy Hollandsworth and Debbie Bassie.
She is survived by her daughters, Betty Pettus and Annette Johnson; sisters, Wynette Butler and Helen Kennedy; grandchildren, Felicia Turner and Robbie Pettus; great-grandchildren, Alexa Turner, Keely Turner, and Jordan Bassie.
Pallbearers will be Mrs. Fields nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be sent to Gentiva Hospice or 1st Baptist Church Lexington Building Fund.
