Nellie June White McGee was born on August 12, 1931. She passed away on November 18, 2013 following a prolonged illness.

Mrs. McGee was preceded in death by her husband Almon Henderson McGee, her parents Harvel and Jarusha White, and brothers, Cellie White, Doyce White, and Coy White, special niece Pam White.

She is survived by her three children Larry H. McGee (Barbara), Terry L. McGee (Rose), Sarah Elizabeth McGee, one grandson Gavin McGee (Erin) and two great grandchildren Blakely and Channing, nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Lauderdale County High School and was a member of the Killen Church of Christ for over 60 years. Mrs. McGee was a devoted, loving wife and mother. She was known throughout the community as a caring person who used her talents and gifts to help others all her life. Her happy, bubbling personality radiated to others and she rarely met a stranger.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 20th at 12:00 p.m. at Killen Church of Christ. The family will receive visitors at the Killen Church of Christ from 10:00 a.m. to noon prior to the services, with Bro. Stan Dean and Bro. Charles Kretzer officiating. Interment will follow at the Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Noel White, David White, Joel White, Jerry McGee, David Hunter, and Mike Jones.

Special friends Willie Alexander, Jane Johnson, Cynthia Tillery and Luthine Kretzer will serve as honorary pallbearers.
