Funeral service for Norma Faye "Bonnie" Poole, 84, of Decatur will be Sunday, March 4, 2012, at 3 p.m. at Grace River Community Church (Austinville Church of God) with the Rev. Harold Coomer and the Rev. Barry Sempsrott officiating and Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Poole, who died Thursday, March 1, 2012, was born January 25, 1928, in Cullman County to Henry William Gerstman and Alma Annie Wicks Gerstman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford H. Poole; seven brothers and sisters.
Survivors include four children, Doris Compton (Robert), Anita Carter (Larry), Mark Poole (Lisa) and Janette Joseph (Mark); six grandchildren, Chris Carter, Bobby Carter, Alex Joseph, Oliver Poole, John Poole and Wess Poole; and four great-grandchildren.
