Norma Jean Dooley, 63, of Hartselle passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2009. She was born on October 22, 1946, and spent more than half of her life in the Hartselle area. Between 1965 and 1995, she lived with her family in Kalamazoo Mich. She was a member of the Decatur First Church of Nazarene. Mrs. Dooley was preceded in death by her son, Jody L. Dooley. Survivors include her mother, Wilma Boger, father, Norman Boger, both of Hartselle; brothers, Paul Boger, Hartselle and Randy (Jerri) Boger, Gobles, Mich.; husband, LJ Dooley, Decatur, Mich.; daughter, Lisa J. Doorlag, Hartselle; son, Jason L. (Susan) Dooley, Paw Paw, Mich.; grandchildren, Cheyanne, Sierra and Zachary Dooley and, Caleb and Gabriel Doorlag; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, at Ridout''s Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel followed by the service at 1 p.m. Internment will be at Johnson Chapel Cemetery, Danville. Arrangements are under the care of Ridout''s Brown-Service Funeral Home, Decatur.
