Mr. O. L. Prince, age 87, of Anderson, passed away Saturday January 9, 2010 at his home. His family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 at Elkins East Chapel. The funeral will be at the funeral home Wednesday morning at 11 with Bro. Chuck Hood officiating. Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery.
Mr. Prince leaves behind his wife of 63 years, Marguerite Goode Prince; children, Jerry Prince (Sue), Cheryl Prince (Bobby Gladd), Marvin Prince (Karen), Beth Smith (Ronny), Richard Prince (Sharon), and Michelle Prince-Glenn; brother, Clarence Prince, Jr.; 11 grandchildren; four great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Verta Prince; sister, Dorothy Prince Harvey; and grandchild Cheryl Gladd.
Pallbearers will be Nicholas Gladd, Brian Prince, Chasley Smith, Jake Prince, Keenan Brown, and Greg Keeton. Austin Glenn will be a Honorary Pallbearer.
