Alene Patterson Putnam January 20, 1927—March 11, 2025

Alene Putnam was born in Lutts, Tennessee in 1927 and died March 11, 2025, at Florence Nursing and Rehab Center in Florence, Alabama. Visitation will be held at Elkins Funeral Home in Florence on Friday, March 14 beginning at 10am. Services will begin at 11am in the Elkins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will immediately follow the service at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Alene was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Patterson, mother, Elizabeth Brewer Patterson, stepmother Ruth Wright Patterson and her husband Ural L. Putnam. Also preceding her in death were her four brothers, Herbert, Paul, Ganes and Roger Patterson, and three sisters Kathy Patterson, Dorthy Worrell, and Lorene Harris.

Surviving Alene are three sisters, Marjorie Davis, (Kenneth, Mo) Genneve McCrary (Dallas, GA) and Martha Scott (Acworth, GA) and three brothers, Donald (Fort Smith, AR), Jerry (Hornersville, Mo) and Elton Patterson, (Kennett, MO) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
