Allen "Cregg" McCollum, 71, of Moulton, AL passed away on April 30, 2023. Cregg was born on May 31, 1951 to Allen and Marie McCollum. Cregg graduated from Courtland High School in 1969. After high school, he went to Phil Campbell Junior College to play baseball. Following high school, he started working at his family's business McCollum's Catfish. He continued working at McCollum's Catfish until they closed in June of 2016. While there, he met many loyal customers and lifelong friends. Cregg enjoyed bass fishing whenever possible and was an avid Alabama football fan. He had a personality that would light up a room and the best smile and laugh. He was a loyal Son, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend.

Cregg was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Marie McCollum. He is survived by his son Chris (Star) McCollum, two grandchildren (Cale & Ellah McCollum), sisters Janice (Alan) Couch and Carolyn Haraway, nieces/nephews (Martha Couch, Jason Couch, Mark Haraway, Leigh Stinnett, and Sarah Haraway).

A celebration of life ceremony is scheduled at Ridout's Brown Service Funeral Home on Thursday, May 4, 2023
