Ms. Amanda Wilde, age 73 of Florence, passed away at her home surrounded by her friends and family on September 8, 2025. Elkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Everyone who knew Amanda knows that she had a servant heart and did everything with excellence. When opportunities arose to serve, she rose to the occasion. She worked with Loaves and Fishes for many years sorting donations and food. She loved being involved in the community where she could and helped in many ways with Young at Heart.

Ms. Wilde graduated from high school in Memphis, TN and lived in Colorado, and St. Thomas before relocating to Florence, where she lived most of her life.

Ms. Wilde also served as a greeter at Grace House church. She loved Jesus and made others hungry for more of Him.

Ms. Wilde is survived by her sister, Jennifer Lovejoy; and stepbrother, Dale Hardee (Betty). She is preceded in death by her parents, David and Mary Jane Scott Wilde.
