Ann Cosby Hester "Gangan", 81, was reunited with her son on November 22, 2025.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 25, 2025, 11 AM to 1 PM at Elkins East Chapel. Services will follow in the chapel and at Romine Cemetery with Tony Cosby officiating. Elkins East Chapel is honored to be assisting.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Erlene Cosby, her brother Wayne, her sister Beth, her niece Lisa, and her pride and joy, Marty Glenn Cosby.

She is survived by her husband of almost 55 years, Ray, along with her daughter-in-law, Donna, grandchildren — Kristin (Michael), Katelyn (Brandon), Mitchell (Taylor), and Allison (Will) — and her great-grandchildren: Brylee, Marsie, Talya, Jagger, Bennett, Adalyn, Breken, Caspian, Nolan, Anja, and Laela. She also leaves behind her three siblings — Dean, Janice, and Tom— and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends she loved so deeply.

The family would like to offer special thanks to the relatives and friends who lovingly stepped in to help care for her during her final months.
