Our dear mother and grandmother sadly passed away on August 24, 2023, at the
age of 93. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend to all and was
always ready to feed you when you entered her home. She was a well loved
member of the Wren Community and her church, Elam Creek Missionary Baptist.
She enjoyed cooking for everyone and making sure you ate if you entered her
home. Her flowers brought her much joy and would walk you through her yard
just to tell you about each flower. You would never catch her without her hair
fixed to perfection along with her nails painted, her brows perfect and her pink lip
stick on.

She is preceded in death by her parents Arthur Dutton and LouElla Garrison
Dutton. Her husband of 54 years, M.H. Montgomery, a daughter Phyllis Parker, a
son Danny Montgomery.

She is survived by her son Mike Montgomery and grandchildren Shea (Brian)
Letson, Brian Montgomery, Amber (Waylon) Cameron, Zeath Parker, Zane Letson,
Malaya (Preston) Monk, Braelon (Britney) Richard, Trace Richard.
The family would like to extend gratitude to NHC staff and nurses and to Dr.
Tuckier and Hospice of the Valley. Nurses Kathy, Dawn, Alaina and Britney,

She will have a Graveside service on Sunday August 27, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Boger cemetery in Lawrence county and Elliott's Brown-Service directing.
