Mrs. Barbara Lee England, age 87 of Florence, passed away on February 11,2025. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 16 at Elkins Funeral Home in Florence beginning at 1pm. Services will be in the Elkins Chapel starting at 2pm. Burial will immediately follow the service at New Hope Church of Christ Cemetery.

Mrs. England was a very kind, sweet lady. She was devoted to her family and was a devoted member of Jackson Heights Church of Christ for over 50 years.

Mrs. England retired from the Lauderdale County Licensing Commission.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Cauthen (Philip); grandchildren, Katie Cauthen, Amy Ashley (Kevin), Jessie Duncan (Ryan), and Elizabeth Springston; four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Carter England; parents, Dalton Lee and Ethel Baskins Bevis; son, Mike England; granddaughter, Christie England; and siblings, Dalton Lee Bevis Jr. and Jean Phillips.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the New Hope Cemetery Fund.
