Beth Cochran

Mary Elizabeth Hackney Cochran died 2nd of October 2022.  She was born February 11, 1929 in Talladega County, AL to Irene Dickie Hackney and Edward Thomas Hackney.  She was preceded in death by her parents and son Lawrence.

Funeral service will be October 6, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Parkview Baptist Church with Reverend Fred Bueto Sr. and Reverend Jimmy Meek officiating.  Interment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Church with Ridout's Brown-Service in charge.

Beth attended Massey Business College in Birmingham.  She was a Wonderful Wife, a Loving Mother and Loved her Grandchildren. She was a homemaker.  She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church for more than 58 years, serving Jesus in many Church offices.  She and Hal directed The Home Ministry for more than 28 years.

Survivors include her husband (Hal) of 71 years, three sons; Bruce (Sandyle), Mark (Jan) and Michael (Julie) all of Decatur, three Grandsons; Zachary (Kimmie), James (Teddi), Sam and one Granddaughter Elizabeth TeGantvoort (Dale), one Great-Grandson Weston Cochran.

Pallbearers will be Larry Self, Ken Williams and Family members.
