Charles O. Keeter, age 80 of Killen, passed away at Glenwood Center on Thursday, April 27th. Services will be held at Elkins East Chapel in Killen, AL on Tuesday, May 2nd at 11am. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 1st from 5pm to 8pm. Burial will be at Bluewater Cemetery in Killen.

Mr. Keeter was a decorated Vietnam veteran, and also served as a member of the Patriot Guard. He was also a member of the Freemasons. Mr. Keeter was a lover of Southern Gospel Music.

Mr. Keeter is preceded in death by his parents, Willie John Keeter and Sarah Corrine Phillips; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Keeter; children, Greg Keeter (Teresa), Cindy Castleberry (Gary), Carla Keeter, Jennifer Fletcher (Dexter), Nicole Harrison (Dan), and Kris Keeter (Amber Letson); 13 grandchildren; 8 great- grandchildren; 1 brother; 3 sisters; and a host of nieces and nephews.
