Charles "Ed" Edward Wightman IV, 70, of Decatur passed away Saturday, January 25,2025.

Ed was originally from Crossett, Arkansas and spent many years as a funeral director and embalmer.

Mr. Wightman was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Phyllis Buchanan Wightman. He is also preceded by his wife Kathy Magana Wightman. He is survived by 2 sons: William Wightman and Charles Wightman V. He is also survived by one brother, Ray Wightman.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow in the chapel. Burial will take place at Midway Memorial Gardens in Lawrence County, Alabama.
