Deloris Faye Gooch, 78, of Hartselle died Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Decatur-Morgan Hospital.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 15, 2024, 12-2 PM at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Lexington, Alabama. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM with Bro. Isaac Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.

Mrs. Gooch was preceded in death by her husband, Monty B. Gooch, Sr.; son, Richard Gooch; parents, Ones and Pearlie Chandler; siblings, Lillian McAnally, O.W. Chandler, Walter Chandler, and Billy Chandler.

She is survived by her three sons, Wendell Gooch, Kendall Gooch, Monty Gooch, Jr (Summor); four grandchildren, Indie Gooch, Brett Gooch, Austin Gooch, and Bridgette Johnson; several great-grandchildren; sister, Pat Bolen; brother, Morris Chandler (Rose); several nieces and nephews.
