Mr. Donald Brusse Clark, age 72 of Florence, passed away at his home surrounded by family on September 10, 2025. Elkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Don was born in Nashville, TN, where he attended and graduated from John Overton Highschool and David Lipscomb University. In his youth he spent much of his time in the Boy Scouts and eventually earned the coveted title of Eagle Scout.  He married Beth Gray Clark in 1974. They were married for 51 years. In 1976 he and Beth welcomed their one and only daughter Brandi.

Don began working in millwork in Nashville, TN as a sales associate for Beasley and Sons where he became Vice President for the company and made many lifelong friends. After moving to Florence, AL, Don continued his career in millwork.

Don was also a member of the Church of Christ and attended Killen Church of Christ.

Mr. Clark is survived by his loving wife, Beth Clark; daughter, Brandi Clark Hammock (Billy); mother, Barbara Brusse Clark; brother, Doug Clark (Tammy); niece, Courtney Clark Burbank; nephew, Mitchell Clark; and great-nephew, Gage Roberts. He is preceded in death by his father, Jo Ed Clark; niece, Chelsea Clark Linear; and nephew, Michael Clark.
