Doris Ann Johnson, 72, of Killen died Friday, June 23, 2023, at her residence.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 27, 2023, 11 AM to 1 PM at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral service will follow in the chapel with Bro. David McKelvey and Bro. Anthony Potts officiating. Burial will be at Pettus Cemetery. The family request that EVERYONE wear Alabama Crimson Tide attire.

Mrs. Johnson was a Brooks High School graduate. She loved sewing, spending time with her family, Alabama Football, and Atlanta Braves Baseball.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Ida Mae Wilson.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Carl Johnson; daughter, Amanda Cottrell (Thomas); step children, Shawn White and Brandi Wellington (Dewayne); grandchildren, Tiffany Garner, Haley McGill (Zach), and Maslynn Cottrell; great grandchildren, Raelyn Garner, Steve Garner, Clayton Garner, Riley McGill, and Knox McGill; siblings, Thomas Wilson (Paula), Carol Cassell (Pete), and James Wilson; many nieces and nephews, and close friends; her special friends, Sherry Cox and Judy Zahnd, with her Sunday School Class; Fur Babies, Autumn and Annie.

Pallbearers will be Todd Pierce, Tony Hudson, Dennis Tate, Bubba Johnson, Jimmy Britnell, and Dale Hayes.
