Mr. Edward Taylor Jr., age 74 of Florence, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024. Services will be held at Elkins Funeral Home on Monday, July 29 beginning at 12pm. Visitation will begin at 11am. Services will be officiated by Chad Hess.

Mr. Taylor was always on the go and couldn't sit still. He owned Ed Taylor car sales for many years and owned Riverside Texco in Muscle Shoals. He could sell anything.

He proudly served in the United States Army and National Guard. He loved the military and the country he served.

Mr. Taylor his survived by his wife, Joan Taylor; son, Michael Taylor; sister, Suzanne Jackson; nephews, David McCullough and Robbie Jackson II; and a great niece, Layla Willingham; great nephew, Gunner Jackson; and other great nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward Taylor Sr. and Thelma Owens; and a brother-in-law, Robert Jackson.
