Elvis M. "Putt" Putman, 85, of Anderson died Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at his residence.

Visitation will be Friday, August 29, 2025, 2-3 PM at Nebo Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Funeral service will follow at 3 PM with Bro. Terry Sanderson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Elkins East Chapel is honored to be assisting the family.

Mr. Putman was preceded in death by his parents, Hartie Franklin and Clara Lena Ritter Putman; siblings, "Ted" Sedric Putman, Hulune Putman, Carine Putman Nix, Hartie JR Putman, Mayburn Putman, Bradley Putman, and Travis Putman.

Putt is survived by his sister, Sue Putman Nix; brother, Ray Putman; eleven nieces and nephews; special friends, Rodger and Teresa Crowden.

Special thanks to Jayden Darby, dear friend and caregiver, for loving and caring for Putt the past two years. You have been such a blessing for our family. Also, special thanks to Affinity Hospice for providing caring and loving nurses, Chaplin, and equipment delivery staff. They all went above and beyond.

Pallbearers will be Tim Nix, Edmund Crowden, Will Crowden, Jordan Crowden, Andy Wallace, and Justin Hibner.
