Mrs. Ferguson was born on March 7, 1928 in Morgan County to Johnnie Hogan and Clydie Pearl Minor Hogan, Preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Samuel Ferguson and three siblings , Loyal Hogan, Paskel Hogan and Opal Augusta Hogan Hargett. She is survived by one daughter Wanda Gail Ferguson Duncan (John),  grandchildren Caroline Paige Duncan, and John Peter Duncan all of Decatur. as well as several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Pete Duncan, John Duncan, David Duncan, Leroy Hogan, James Paul Hogan and David Michael.

The Family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of the valley, Especially Whitney Byrd, Jennifer Warnick, LeAnn McCreless, Gary Owens, and Dr. John Irle for their dedicated support and compassionate care during the illness and passing of Mrs. Ferguson.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request that any memorial donation be made to the Church of Stone River or to Hospice of the Valley.
