Freda Mitchell, 72, of Rogersville died Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at her residence.

A graveside service will be Friday, October 27, 2023, 2 PM at Butler Cemetery with Bro. Matt Burns and Bro. Howell Bigham officiating. Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.

Mrs. Mitchell was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dewey "Duke" Garner.

Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Jerry Don Mitchell; children, Angela Burns (Matt) and Ashley Inman; grandchildren, Anna Beth Burns, Samuel Burns, Kaleb Inman, and Hazel Inman; mother, Mary Garner; brother, Donnie Garner (Teresa); several nieces and nephews.
