Funeral for George Simpson Parker Jr. 80. Of Trinity, Alabama will be on Monday August 21st, 2023 at Trinity Methodist Church with Rev. Greg Burnett and Harry Knop officiating. The family will have a visitation from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM followed with a service at the church. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur. Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Parker was born in Morgan County Alabama to George Simpson Parker Sr. and Ruth Johnson Parker on November 13,1942. He passed away on August 17,2023 at his residence. He retired from Solutia and his hobbies were horses and his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Eloise Burt.

He is survived by his wife Willodean Parker, his children Tony Parker, Sherry Alford and husband John. Stepson Dale Thompson. Grandchildren Cole Alford and wife Anna, Parker Alford and wife Ashlyn, Margaret Rosovsky and husband Jack, Whitney Curtis, Step grandson Scott Thompson. Great granddaughter Ellyn Alford.

Pallbearers will be family.
