Obituary

Beulah Glynn Prince Belew, age 94 of Rogersville, passed away on Saturday, July 06, 2024 at North Alabama Medical Center. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 9th at Elkins East Chapel in Killen from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with a graveside service and burial at Civitan Cemetery, Rogersville at 11:00 a.m. with Robert Clark officiating.
Glynn Belew was a native of Lauderdale County. She married Oswald D. (Bill) Belew on August 17th 1948. They resided in Huntsville, AL for many years before returning to Rogersville in 2003.
She is a graduate from Athens State College (Athens State University). She was employed and retired from Martin Marietta Corporation in Huntsville, AL.

She had a love for the piano and grew up playing the piano in church. She also enjoyed playing for her friends and family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She continued to play her entire life.

Glynn was preceded in death by Bill Belew her husband of 63 years; her beloved son, Terry Leigh Belew; parents Robert Lee Prince and Beulah Mae Weathers Prince.

Survivors include one son, Garland Keith Belew (Kimberly); brother, Robert Rodney Prince (Sharon); grandchildren Justin Alexander Belew (Meredith), Nathan Lee Belew, Alyson Nicole Belew, Lauren Chance Belew and Matthew Ryan Belew; great-grandchildren Azleigh Grace Belew, Sophie Glynn Belew, Harper Beth Belew, Addison Baylee Belew, Finley Clark Belew and Cooper Jeffreys Belew; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be Justin Belew, Nathan Belew, Matthew Belew, Finley Belew, Jeff Belew, Vance Belew and Danny Springer. Honorary Pallbearer will be Gary Belew.

We offer a special thanks to Dr. Robert Mann, his staff and the North Alabama Medical Center staff who helped her immensely.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Rogersville Volunteer Fire Department for their support throughout the years. Donations can be sent to Post Office Box 540 Rogersville, AL 35652.
