Funeral service for Jeanette Carpenter Tapley, 88, of Priceville, AL will be Wednesday, January 15th 2025, at 11 am at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with Bro Tony Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 am -11 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Burning tree Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Tapley, who died Tuesday, January 7 2025, at home was born March 13, 1936  in Lawrence County to Massie Bond & Gabe Carpenter. She lived  & raised her family in the Priceville, AL community. Mrs. Tapley was a loving wife, mother, sister, and  grandmother to her four grandchildren & three great grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her husband S.J Tapley and two sons; Michael Tapley and Jeffrey Tapley, her parents, three sisters and one brother.

She is survived by her daughter, Janice Childress and son, Jimmy Tapley (Rhonda); one sister, Margaret Fern Grandchamp of Hartselle; and four grandchildren, Paige Creasy (Daniel), Eric Tapley, Jamie Stone (Tommy) & Evan Tapley & 3 great grandchildren. Tristan Creasey, Tegan Creasey & Jaxon Norris

Pallbearers will be Robert Jesse, Samuel Tune, Dan Walls, Jimmy Springer, Tommy Stone and Anthony Lester; alternate Patrick Springer
