Johnny Raye Goode III, 47, of Denver, Colorado, passed away August 1, 2024. He was born May 16, 1977, in Decatur, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Raye Goode II, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Raye Goode, and Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Sprayberry.

Johnny was a graduate of Decatur High School. He lit up the lives of many and traveled the world as the lighting director for Skydog Gypsy, The Disco Biscuits, and Clearwing Productions.

Johnny is survived by Rebecca Goode, their son, Johnny Raye Goode IV, daughter, Lilly Austyn Goode, parents, Jan and C.D. Cunningham, uncles Rod Goode (Sherry), and Richard Sprayberry (Cynthia), numerous cousins and close friends.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, August 9th, 2024, at 2pm at Ridout's Brown Funeral Home in Decatur, AL.
