Mr. Johnny William Riley, age 72 of Florence, passed away on November, 2023 at his home.

Mr. Riley served in the United States Air Force and worked for the U.S. Postal Service for many years.

He is survived by his granddaughter, Isabella Foshee (Jacob); great grandchildren, Maple and Clover; grandson, Jack Riley; siblings, Nancy Johnson, Jeff Riley, Steve Riley (Susan) and Bonita Thorn. He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer Riley and Birdie Harrison; daughter, Carrie Riley; and son, Gregory Lee Riley.

Mr. Riley always said that his best treasures are in heaven.

"Don't store treasure here on earth, for in the end it's of little worth.

Here moths destroy and rust corrode, not so in your heavenly abode.

Store treasure in Heaven friend, where an Eternity you will spend.

Where your treasure is, you'll see, there your heart shall also be."
