Mr. Kiel Braden McCoy, age 21 of Florence, passed away on Wednesday, June 19 2024. Elkins Funeral Home in Florence is assisting the family.

Mr. McCoy attended the Whitko and Whitley County Consolidated Schools, and graduated  from the Eagle Tech Academy in 2022. He worked at Artistic Holiday Designs in South Whitley, IN and LSC Print Solutions in Warsaw, IN before enlisting in the United States Military in June of 2024.

Mr. McCoy is survived by his mother and step-father, Angela McCoy (Nichols) and Dominic Perreira of Columbia City, IN; his father, Timothy Bryant of South Whitley, IN; grandparents, Patricia Nichols (Hall) of Atkins, VA and Karen Albaugh (Juillerat) of Mesa, AZ; siblings, Hunter McCoy of Columbia City, IN, Terron McCoy of Huntington, IN, Conner Branning (Hannah Fisher) of Wabash, IN, Christian Perreira (Elijah Sprinkle) of Canton, NC, and DJ Perreira of Columbia City, IN; uncle, Tony Nichols (Maryaha); aunt, Karen Jones (Mickey); cousin, Lily Nichols; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins in Indiana and Hawaii.
