Mr. Mark Erwin Garner, age 67 of Anderson, passed away at North Alabama Medical Center on October 19, 2023. Services will be held at Elkins East Chapel in Killen on Sunday, October 22 at 2pm with visitation beginning at 12pm. Burial will follow at Harmon Cemetery in Lexington. Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.

Mr. Garner proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and was an avid supporter of  the American Legion.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rhonda McMeans Garner; daughter, Selena Garner; special nephew, Little Joe Leibecki; father, James L. Garner; brother, Michael Garner; special cousins, Darren Garner and Brannon Davis; sister-in-law, Karen Davis (Stoney Simpson); special nieces, Brittney Davis (Brittney Traylor); a very special "jarhead' friend, George Thompson; friends, Jerry Cole and David Cole; and a special uncle, Raleigh Garner. He is preceded in death by his mother, Ellowee Garner; and grandparents, EZ and Maybelle Howard, and Robert and Ivy Garner.
