Mary Jane Collins Gooch went to be with the Lord on January 13,2024. Mary was born on

July 2, 1924 and lived on this earth 99 years. Mary was a member of Sherrod Avenue Church of Christ, a graduate of Moody Hospital School of Nursing in Dothan, AL, and a past member of The Order of The Eastern Star. Mrs. Gooch started her nursing career at ECM and was able to travel the world with her husband who was in the military, even practicing nursing in Africa.

Ms. Gooch is survived by her sons, Doug and Dennis Gooch. 1 sister, and 1 brother as well as 4 grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.

Ms. Gooch is preceded in death by her husband Douglas Gooch Sr., her parents, 4 siblings, and 2 grandchildren.
