Funeral for Melbalean Kirby, 90, of Courtland Alabama will have a funeral service at Courtland Baptist Church on Wednesday May 14, 2025 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Scotty Letson officiating and Burial will be at Smyrna Cemetery. The Family will have a Visitation prior to the service starting at 10:30 AM until 1:00 PM.

Mrs. Kirby passed away on Sunday May 11, 2025 at her sons residence. She was a Member of Courtland Baptist Church. She was a retire of Sexton canning Company. She was preceded in death by her son Marvin Reece Kirby Jr, and her husband Marvin Reece Kirby Sr.

She is survived by four sons Mikie Kirby and wife Cindy, Oscar Kirby and wife Pam, Rodger Kirby and wife Carol, Phillip Kirby. Two daughters Jan Gaylord and husband Rick, Susan McIntyre and husband Keith. Eleven Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, and a host of Great Great grandchildren. Pallbears will be Grandsons and son in laws.
