Nadine Walker Anthony

Nadine Walker Anthony, age 88, of Decatur, AL passed away on October 22, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.  Nadine was born April 2, 1936 in Nashville, TN, and lived most of her life in that area.

Nadine and her husband of 50+ years made their home in Decatur, AL after retirement where they spent the last 28 years.  There they became very active with the "Boot Scooter" volunteers at Decatur General.  They enjoyed dancing and traveling, but most of all, spending time with family and friends.  They were also active members at First Christian Church in Nashville and later in Decatur.

Nadine worked as a claims manager in Nashville until retirement and then with Red Cross in Decatur.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lee Anthony, her parents, and her siblings.

She is survived by her 3 children, Sheryll Normand (Josh), Vicki Pence (Danny),  David Anthony (Cindy), her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many more relations and friends who loved her.

Service will be held at Middle Tennessee State Veteran's Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Lane, Nashville, TN, Friday, November 1, 2024 at 1:00 with Reverend Mickey Johnson officiating.
