Rex Allen White, age 70 of Madison, passed away on July 23rd at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville. Services will be Wednesday, July 26th at the Elkins East Chapel beginning at noon. The family will receive friends starting at 10 am Wednesday morning. Doug Farris will be officiating.

Mr. White worked for Occidental Chemical and was a merchant marine. He is described by his family as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a wonderful friend.

Mr. White is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Costell White and Birdie Adrian White; and a brother, Danny White. He is survived by his wife, Sharon White; children, Brandy Wilson (Anthony), and Brittney Dial (Evan); step-children, Scott Santoro (Tami), and  Lauren Wilkins (Andy); grandchildren, Abby and Brogan Wilson, Jackson Santoro, Charlie Wilson, Stella Wilkins, Rex Dial, Eleanor Dial, Sam WIlkins, and Mae Dial; siblings, Sheila Brown and Richard White; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tim Lewis, Sam Beadle, Mike McGuire, Scotty White, Danny White and Steve Clayton will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Waldrep and Richard "Dicky" White.
