Robert Lee Burgess, 75, of Florence died Thursday, August 25, 2022, at his residence.

Visitation will be Monday, August 29, 2022, 1-3 PM at Elkins Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 3 PM in the chapel.

Mr. Burgess served in the US Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Raymond and Matilda Pimentel Burgess, Sr.; brother, Joseph Burgess; sister, Judy Hollenbeck.

Mr. Burgess is survived by his wife, Marion Burgess; children, Thomas Burgess and Edward Price (Judy); grandchildren, Skylar, Kaitlyn, Paisley, Zoey, and Jayden; sister, Mary Ann Higdon.
