Robert D. "Bobby" Tidwell, 60, of Florence died Thursday, February 6, 2025, at his residence.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Elkins East Chapel from 12:30-2 PM. Funeral service will follow in the chapel. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, James Dillon Tidwell.

He is survived by his mother, Janice Tidwell; sisters, Pam Powers (Gary) and Vicki Yarber (Joey); nephews and niece, Chris (Casey) and Trent (Kelli) Stewart, Matthew, Jordan (Kaitlyn), and Kaitlyn Wilson; great nieces and nephews, Esther and Ernie Stewart, Dillon Wilson, Paislee Parker, and A.J. Burbank.

Bobby was a 1983 graduate of Brooks High School and a graduate of University of North Alabama. He retired from UPS. He was an avid Auburn Fan.

Pallbearers will be Chris Stewart, Trent Stewart, Matthew Wilson, Jordan Wilson, Rick Kuhn, and Gary Powers.
