Shirley Faye Schoening,78, of Decatur passed away on November1, 2022 at UAB in Birmingham, Alabama. She was born on August 31, 1944 in Moulton to Malcom Payne and Helen Tanksley Payne both Deceased. Shirley will have a visitation on Saturday November 5, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home. Her graveside will be at 12:30 PM at Aldridge Grove Cemetery in Lawrence county.

She is survived by Two sons Jon Niles Schoening and wife Ursula, Michael David Schoening, Two Grandchildren abbey, Ian, Three Step grandchildren Mac, Alexandria, Landon. Brother Jimmy Payne, Three sisters Carolyn Allen, Kathy Coffey, Lisa Payne.
