Mr. Timothy John "T.J." Creasy, age 48 of Florence, passed away on January 27, 2026 surrounded by family and friends. Services will be held at Elkins Funeral Home in Florence on Saturday, January 31 and will begin at 1pm. Visitation will be held prior to the service and will begin at 12pm. Burial will immediately follow the services at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Cypress Inn, TN.

Mr. Creasy was a truck driver by trade and could frequently be seen behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler. Being a native of Florence, he never met a face he didn't know.

He loved his family and took great pride in being a fantastic "Pop" and a phenomenal uncle. His children and grandson, Jett were his pride and joy alongside his wife of almost 25 years, Penny Creasy.

He was a jokester and loved to pick on anyone he could just to make them laugh.

Mr. Creasy was an avid Alabama Football fan and would support the Crimson Tide at any chance he was given.

He is survived by his wife, Penny Creasy; father, Charles Creasy; brother, Wesley Creasy (Brittney); sister, Tammy Bishop (Michael); daughter, Victoria Swinney (Peyton); son, Charlie Creasy; grandson, Jett Swinney; nieces and nephews, Sidney and Lainey Creasy, Hunter Gingerich, Hayden Mannon, Owen and Aubrey Bishop; great-nieces and nephews, Ana Larkin, Will Gifford, Jesei Gifford, Allye Gifford, Anna Grace Cook, Brodie Cook, Liam Gifford, Kyle Gifford, Jordyne Gifford, and Londyn Taylor.

He is preceded by his mother, Linda Creasy; grandparents, Hubert and Audrey Creasy, and Pete and Opal Walker; and sister-in-law, Jennifer Creasy.
