Funeral service for Trillmon Steele, 87, of Moulton, will be Friday, July 19, 2024, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Bro. Randy Copeland and Bro. Neil Carter, officiating with burial at Montgomery Cemetery, Elliott Funeral Home directing.

Trillmon passed away Monday, Jul 15th, at Decatur General Hospital.  Survivors include his beloved wife of 68 years, Carolyn Montgomery Steele, son Greg Steele (Patricia), and daughter Tammy Williams (Steve). Grandchildren Allen Howell, BreAnna Steele, Ashley Glenzer (Michael), Stephen Williams (Hopelyn), Steele Williams, Josh Williams, 9 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Eula Steele, and brother Kenneth Steele (Patricia).  Pallbearers will be close friends and family.

Trillmon was machinist employed by Wolverine Tube for 20 years and General Motors, Saginaw Steering Gear for 23 years when he retired. He was one of the original members of the Kings Messenger's gospel quartet and sang with several other groups.  He was a longtime deacon and member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, the church choir and praise team. He loved the Lord and singing his praises! He was an avid golfer and loved to fish.  He enjoyed the friendship of golf league buddies and never met a stranger!
