Troy was born  July 23, 1953 in Salem, IL , and passed on December 28,2022 at age 69. He lived in Alabama until December 2017 when he and his wife, Kathy, moved to The Villages in Florida. They attended VineLife Church in Leesburg, FL, where Troy enjoyed helping with various projects. Troy and his wife enjoyed playing golf with the neighborhood golf group and their friends during the week.

Troy's funeral will be Friday January 13, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Calvary Assembly of God with Pastor George Sawyer and Pastor Tony Willis officiating.  Burial will be at Moulton Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be Friday January 13, 2023 from 11:30 to 1:00 at Calvary Assembly of God.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Bray; one daughter, Kim Bray Campbell (Billy) of Decatur; four grandchildren, Katelyne Davis (Brody) of Cullman, Dylan Campbell (Kayla) and Makenzie Campbell of Decatur, Dakota Campbell (Janie) of Hartselle; one brother, Winfred Bray (Teresa) of Moulton; Sister in laws, Peggy Bahder (Thomas) of Florida and Joyce Novel (Bob DeVoss) of California; and several nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his Father, William Oakland Bray; his Mother, Susie Mae Bray; two children, Lisa Michelle Bray and Jeremy Scott Bray; two brothers, Roy Bray and Wendell Bray.

Pallbearers will be Bobby McGrath, Joe Phifer, Dylan Campbell, Dakota Campbell, Hunter Bray, Spencer Bray, and Andrew Bray.  Honorary pallbearers will be Brannon Bray, Brad Bray, Billy Campbell, and Brody Davis.

The family will receive flowers at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home in Decatur, AL.
