Mr. Troy Glenn Parker, age 65 of Florence, passed away on January 3, 2025. A memorial service in his honor will be announced at a later date.

Mr. Parker was a very strong-willed man. Even though he had struggled with a long-term illness, he never lost his spark. He loved to joke around and had a great sense of humor. He also loved Alabama Football, but his family, especially his grandchildren, brought him so much love and joy.

Mr. Parker attended First Baptist Church Center Star.

Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Mrs. Teresa Parker; his daughter, Kristi Wright (Jamie) and her children, Skyler and Sierra Wright; and his son, Dustin Parker (Suzanne) and his children, Savannah, Sadie, and Madyson Parker.

Mr. Parker is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Alvin and Lucille Thigpen Parker.
