Vickie Jo Howard, 68, of Sheffield died Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Helen Keller Hospital.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 19, 2024, 12-2 PM at Elkins Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM in the chapel. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield, Alabama.

Mrs. Howard was preceded in death by a son, Andy Howard; parents, Jesse Sewell and Roberta Tarpley Pierce; sister, Judy Turman.

She is survived by her husband, Virgil Howard; children, Jason Howard and Julie Borden (Jason); grandchildren, Austin Borden (Darby), Jackson Borden, Ella Borden, Victoria Flannagin (Zach), Haven Howard, and Bo Howard; great-granddaughter, Willa Borden; brother, Jesse Sewell Pierce, Jr. (Nancy); special cousin, Martha Flanagan.
