Mrs. Wiley was born in Lawrence County on June 20, 1936 to John Wilbur Jackson and Madeline Sullivan Jackson, both deceased. She is also preceded in death by her husband Bobby O'neal Wiley, her grandparents John Preuit and Maude Lee (McCaghren) Sullivan, William Henry and Annie Penola (McCarty) Jackson.

Survivors include Daughter Vanessa Leigh Wiley Talley (Donald), Son Bobby Johns Wiley (Diane), 3 Grandsons, 3 great grandsons, 1 great granddaughter. A host of cousins, in-laws, and friends.

Mrs. Wiley was an active member of Enon Baptist Church for 76 years (August 1946). Pianist and Organist for 66 plus years, Church Clerk for many years. Junior choir and adult choir. Jean enjoyed bringing her great grandson Cooper to church with her. Jean worked for Quaker Oats Co. for twelve and half years. She worked in several school systems, Grace Baptist, Calhoun College, East Lawrence, Lawrence County High, and Moulton Middle for 38 years and retired in 2010.

Pallbearers are Cooper Talley, Ryker Talley, Logan Talley, Hunter Talley, Austin Talley, Tim Curtis, Wayne Johnson, Hoyt McCaghren, Cullie Johnson, Kenny "Frog" Johnson.
