Wilton Davis, 92, of Killen died Monday, February 27, 2023, at his residence.

Visitation will be Friday, March 3, 2023, 11 AM to 12 PM at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 12 PM in the chapel with Bro. Stan Dean and Bro. Steven Guy officiating. Burial will be at Bluewater Cemetery.

Mr. Davis served in the US Army and was a sergeant. He was a former member of Whiteville church of Christ in Whiteville, North Carolina. He was the first fire chief of Evergreen Vol. Fire Department in North Carolina. He was a member of Killen church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Davis Florich; grandsons, Jared Guy and T.C. Florich; twelve brothers and sisters; parents, Clyde Starling and Estella McCall Davis.

Mr. Davis is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Doris Davis; daughters, Cindy Guy (Steven) and Judi Dean (Stan); grandsons, Nathan Guy (Katie), Matthew Guy (Lacey), Jordan Guy (Taylor), Phil Dean (Audrey), and Garrett Dean (Briana); granddaughter, Micah Smith (Andrew); seventeen great grandchildren.
