Obituary

Ola Ruth Jackson, 87, of Decatur passed away July 13, 2022 at Deatsville, Alabama. The Service will be Saturday July 16, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel and the visitation is one hour before the service. Burial will be at Decatur City cemetery.

Ruth was born on November 23, 1934 to Father Brice Jackson and Mother Ruby Steelman both deceased, also preceded by her sisters Jennie Mae Dempsey and Eleanor Morgan.

Survivors Brother Hugh Jackson, Nieces Elizabeth (John) Rhodes, Michelle Adams, Donna (Jim) Head, & Charlotte (Charles) Storie
Nephews Josh (Amanda) Jackson, Bo (Laura) Dempsey, Kenneth (Linda) Dempsey, Grady Dempsey, & Robert (Norma) Dempsey.
Along with a host of Great Nieces and Great Nephews up to Great Great Great Nieces and Nephews.
Ruth loved her brother very much and she had a special relationship with everyone. Ruth lived a full and beautiful life. She will be missed.
