Olean Dison's Obituary
Mrs. Olean Dison passed away Friday, August 15, 2008 at the Hospice House in Citrus County, Florida. She was born on July 14, 1907 in Riverton, Alabama.
The funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Elkins East Chapel with Rev. Alvin Burbank officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Burial will follow in Civitan Cemetery.
Mrs. Dison was a resident of Rogersville before moving to Crystal River, Florida 14 years ago to be near her children. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Dison.
She is survived by daughters Mayrose Ezell and husband James, Benton, Arkansas, Dorothy Shumway, Crystal River, Florida, Helen Foster, Beverly Hills, Florida and Ruth Slaton, Crystal River, Florida; sister Rosalie Roberts, Killen; half-sister Julia Staggs, Florence; 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, consider memorials to Hospice House, 3350 W. Audubon Park Path, Lecanto, Florida 34461.
