Onnie Mae Hicks passed away August 22, 2012. She was born November 19, 1923, in Limestone County to Johnny and Lillian Adams. Family visitation will be today, August 24, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with Jeff Sellers and Alan Watkins officiating. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. Hicks. Survivors include one daughter, Betty Hamilton (Gene); grandsons, Luke Hamilton (Susan) and Josh Hamilton (Meg); great-granddaughter, Hollis; sister, Lucille Tucker; brothers, Edward Adams (Martha) and Johnny Adams (Margie). Memorials to Children's Hospital, Birmingham, or Ninth Street United Methodist Church.
