CUMMINGS, GA Opal Grace Hudson Cox, 80, passed March 5, 2016 surrounded by family.
She was born Dec. 16, 1935 to Jessie Williams Hudson and W.J. Hudson "Steamboat Bill". Opal graduated from Decatur High School in 1954.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Bobby Cox; her three daughters, Cindy Cox, Beth Brecher (Chris), Amanda Foster (Michael); and her four beloved grandchildren, Katherine, Daniel, Benjamin and Sarah; and her sister, Rose Edwards and her husband, Bobby Edwards.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Virginia; her brother Willis; and nine other brothers and sisters.
Please join her family and friends at her graveside service at the City of Decatur Cemetery on April 2 at 11 a.m.
